Camping La Chopera is located just 3 km from Plasencia, a historic city and the second most important in the province of Cáceres.
Thanks to our location, you can enjoy the beautiful regions of Upper Extremadura: the Jerte Valley, Alagón Valley, Las Hurdes, La Vera, Sierra de Gata, Monfragüe, etc. All of them are located on the outskirts of Plasencia, no more than 30 minutes away. Trujillo and Guadalupe are 1 hour away. We have bungalows that can accommodate 2 to 6 people, with a living room, kitchen, bathroom, and a small porch. All bungalows have a kitchen equipped with a ceramic hob, refrigerator, microwave, basic kitchenware for 3 or 6 people, air conditioning and heating in the living room, television, chairs and table on the porch. We are located on the N-110, better known in the area as Carretera del Valle, as this is the entrance road to the famous Jerte Valley, known to all for its prized cherries. The Plasencia riverside walk passes by the campsite. It is a beautiful path that runs along both banks of the Jerte River for a total of 18 kilometers. It passes by the campsite and is an excellent option for walking or cycling to Plasencia. We have a large swimming pool for adults and a children's pool specially designed for the enjoyment of the little ones.
