Iryo Allows Traveling with Dogs This Summer: Details and Conditions

The price of tickets for one person will be 40 euros, and the new regulations also allow dogs weighing less than ten kilograms to travel without a carrier. Tickets must be purchased exclusively through Iryo's Customer Service Department.

Requirements for traveling with dogs without a carrier

These are the company's requirements for dogs traveling without a carrier:

· The dog must always be accompanied by an adult, either you as its owner or someone with a signed authorization and identified by you.
· Before the train departs, make sure you submit the completed, signed, and printed declaration of responsibility, along with the updated vaccination card, at least an hour and a half in advance. You can find the declaration in the Pets section of the Iryo website.
· It is important that you have compulsory insurance for your dog as required by law.
· Don't forget to bring a cleaning kit with you in case of any incidents with your dog, including bags, wipes, and a disinfectant and deodorizing spray.
· Remember to keep their environment clean, ensure their peace of mind, and guarantee that other passengers can also travel comfortably.
· Dogs must wear a muzzle while at the station and when boarding and alighting from the train. However, during the journey, it may travel without a muzzle, provided it is on a non-extendable leash of no more than 1.5 meters.
· During the journey, dogs must remain in their assigned seat, accompanied and on a leash.

· Dogs under one year of age, female dogs in heat, and potentially dangerous breeds are not allowed.

Travel Kit for Comfort and Cleanliness

Iryo will provide a travel kit that includes a seat cover and a mat to ensure comfort and cleanliness during the journey. At the end of the journey, the owner will be responsible for collecting these items for subsequent cleaning.
