Dog Beaches

Located on La Conca beach next to the boat dock, it can accommodate 150 people with their pets.

The dog beach in Malgrat de Mar (Maresme) is now open to swimmers with dogs. Located on La Conca Beach next to the boat dock, the beach covers 1,200 m2 and is enclosed by a U-shaped wooden fence that opens onto the sea. It also has showers and trash cans.

Access to the beach is via the new wooden walkway that leads to the enclosed dog beach area.

According to the regulations stipulated by the city council, each person may bring a maximum of two animals, which must be identified with a microchip. Dogs may use the shower provided for them, without soap. It is mandatory to pick up excrement and dispose of it in the trash cans and to wash the area where the animal has urinated with water. In the case of dogs considered potentially dangerous, each person may not bring more than one, and it is mandatory to keep them on a leash and muzzled at all times, both in and out of the water. The person walking the dog must carry the municipal license, identification document, and census certificate. It is advisable to avoid the hours of maximum sun exposure to prevent heatstroke and to ensure that the dog drinks water regularly to prevent dehydration.
