If you are thinking of visiting the area, here is a complete guide to enjoy Gijón with a dog.

· Saliencia Cove in Cudillero

Saliencia Cove, in Novellana, Cudillero, has been pet-friendly since 2016. Although it does not have parking or services, it offers a spectacular virgin environment. Caution is important due to moderate waves.

· Cambaredo Beach in Franco

It is a long and quite rocky beach with an extension of 220 meters by 20 meters wide.
It is an isolated beach, with low attendance and surrounded by cliffs. A true gem of great ecological value. To access it, you will have to go down a few steps on a pedestrian path. Currently this beach has no services, but your dog can enjoy Cambaredo all year round without any time restrictions.

· Quintana Beach in Valdés

When dog access to Sabugo was prohibited, the town council included Quintana Beach in the list of pet-friendly beaches. Cesantes, inaugurated in 2016, is one of the most popular in the province, ideal both for walks and for spending a full day with your dog. Chapela, smaller, is perfect for a dip when the tide is low.

Located in the municipality of Poio, very close to the well-known parish of Combarro, this beach with dark sand and calm waters is perfect for a quiet getaway with your dog.
