Opened in July 2026, this beach is exclusively for people who come with their dogs. It has signage, a walkway, a drinking fountain, and a shower for animals, although the latter two facilities are not operational due to water restrictions caused by drought.
· Santa Clara Dog Beach, La Linea de la Concepcion
Located between El Burgo and La Alcaidesa, this beach covers an area of 1,000 square meters (50x20) and is equipped with showers, a drinking fountain, a complete perimeter fence, and signage.
· Dog beach in Cádiz Capital
The dog beach in Cádiz is located at the end of Cortadura beach, starting at Torregorda, and has 465 meters where you can enjoy time with your furry friend. It is divided into two areas: a 340-meter strip where dogs must be kept on a leash and a 125-meter fenced-off area where they can run free. It is equipped with a drinking fountain, cleaning area, and trash cans, and is separated from the swimming area by a safety margin. · Cambaredo Beach in Franco
This is a long, fairly rocky beach, 220 meters long and 20 meters wide.
It is an isolated beach, with few visitors and surrounded by cliffs. A true gem of great ecological value. To access it, you will have to go down a few steps from a footpath. Currently, this beach has no services, but your dog can enjoy Cambaredo all year round without any time restrictions.
· Quintana Beach in Valdés
When dogs were banned from Sabugo, the city council included Quintana Beach on the list of pet-friendly beaches. Although pets must be leashed in most areas, there are designated areas where they can run freely, making it a place where everyone can enjoy themselves. Although it lacks services and parking, it is easily accessible. The beach is covered with pebbles, surrounded by cliffs, and has waves. However, its spectacular natural setting and its inclusion in the Protected Landscape of the Western Coast of Asturias make it a noteworthy destination.
· Campiencho in Valdés
Campiecho Beach is like a hidden treasure, mainly known by fishing enthusiasts due to its ideal natural conditions: surrounded by rocks and with strong waves (caution should be exercised when swimming). Although there is no parking, you can leave your car relatively close by. Access is via a ramp that descends about 8 meters. These characteristics prevent crowds, offering a peaceful landscape to enjoy with our pets.

Dog-friendly beaches in the province of Pontevedra 2026:
· O Espiño Beach, Lousiñas Beach, and O Portiño Beach (San Vicente do Mar, O Grove)

Probably the best thing about traveling with your dog in Cantabria is its dog-friendly beaches. You should know that on most beaches you can walk your dog at any time throughout the year except during the period from June 1 to September 30.
